Ar aicinājumu Pieradini dzīvnieku sevī! 12. augustā tiks atklāts Laikmetīgā cirka un ielu mākslas festivāls RE RĪGA!.
Mēs zinām, ka cilvēks ir trausls un vienlaicīgi neticami spēcīgs. Cilvēks ir viens no retajiem dzīvniekiem, kuram piemīt humora izjūta un pašironija. Tāpēc šogad festivāla programmā un saturā mēs runājam par dzīvniecisko cilvēkā, par dzīvnieku mūsos, kuru varam pieradināt, aprūpēt, apmīļot un arī nomierināt. Cilvēks ir dabas sastāvdaļa, uz to attiecas tie paši noteikumi, kas attiecas uz citām dzīvām būtnēm. Tomēr mēs gribam būt tie, kas spēj kontrolēt savus instinktus pat tad, kad tas ir grūti.
Atklāšanas vakars sākies ar klauna Cronopio priekšnesumu, kam sekos grupas "Jaunība" koncerts retroromantiskās noskaņās.Mariano Gedvijo (Mariano Gedwillo), plašāk zināms ar skatuves vārdu Cronopio, ir klauns, režisors, virves staigātājs un žonglieris no Argentīnas. Mākslinieka meklējumi pēc patiesa un autentiska Klauna tēla balstās dzīves reālijās, tāpēc viņu interesē mijiedarbība ar ļoti dažādām auditorijām – bagātiem un nabagiem, jauniem un veciem, nopietniem un smieklīgiem, ieinteresētiem un skeptiķiem.
“Jaunība” ir grupa, kas nupat jūnijā ir izdevusi savu debijas albumu “Daži racionāli apsvērumi”. Tajā ir 14 dziesmas ar mūsdienu latviešu dzeju, kuru radījuši tādi autori kā Inga Pizāne, Elvīra Bloma, Inga Gaile, Agnese Krivade, Agnese Rutkēviča, Henriks Eliass Zēgners, Alise Zariņa un Marija Luīze Meļķe.

With the call to "Tame the animal within!", the Contemporary Circus and Street Art Festival RE RĪGA! will kick off on August 12.
We know that humans are fragile and, at the same time, incredibly strong. Humans are among the rare animals that possess a sense of humor and self-irony. That’s why this year’s festival programme and theme explore the animalistic side of humans – the animal within us that we can tame, care for, love, and soothe. Humans are a part of nature and are subject to the same rules as all other living beings. Yet, we aspire to be the ones who can control our instincts, even when it's difficult.
The opening night will begin with a performance by the clown Cronopio, followed by a retro-romantic concert by the band Jaunība.
Mariano Gedwillo, better known by his stage name Cronopio, is a clown, director, tightrope walker, and juggler from Argentina. Mariano’s search for a true and authentic clown character is based on the realities of life, leading him to interact with diverse audiences – rich and poor, young and old, serious and funny, interested and skeptical.
“Jaunība” is a Latvian band that just released their debut album “Daži racionāli apsvērumi” (“Some Rational Considerations”) this June. The album features 14 songs set to contemporary Latvian poetry by authors such as Inga Pizāne, Elvīra Bloma, Inga Gaile, Agnese Krivade, Agnese Rutkēviča, Henriks Eliass Zēgners, Alise Zariņa, and Marija Luīze Meļķe.
